1 И начал говорить им притчами: некоторый человек насадил виноградник и обнес оградою, и выкопал точило, и построил башню, и, отдав его виноградарям, отлучился.
2 И послал в свое время к виноградарям слугу – принять от виноградарей плодов из виноградника.
3 Они же, схватив его, били, и отослали ни с чем.
4 Опять послал к ним другого слугу; и тому камнями разбили голову и отпустили его с бесчестьем.
5 И опять иного послал: и того убили; и многих других то били, то убивали.
6 Имея же еще одного сына, любезного ему, напоследок послал и его к ним, говоря: постыдятся сына моего.
7 Но виноградари сказали друг другу: это наследник; пойдем, убьем его, и наследство будет наше.
8 И, схватив его, убили и выбросили вон из виноградника.
9 Что же сделает хозяин виноградника? – Придет и предаст смерти виноградарей, и отдаст виноградник другим.
10 Неужели вы не читали сего в Писании: камень, который отвергли строители, тот самый сделался главою угла;
11 это от Господа, и есть дивно в очах наших.
12 И старались схватить Его, но побоялись народа, ибо поняли, что о них сказал притчу; и, оставив Его, отошли.

Притчей о злых виноградарях Спаситель отвечает на вопрос, который несколько ранее задали ему фарисеи: какой властью Ты поступаешь? кто дал Тебе право так Себя вести? Смысл притчи был вполне прозрачен для слушателей: неспроста после этой притчи ярость старейшин едва удержалась от скорой расправы над Иисусом только из-за страха перед множеством собравшегося народа. В злых виноградарях фарисеи узнали себя – именно им, еврейской духовной знати, было поручено Самим Богом заниматься воспитанием народа, возделыванием виноградника Божия – а вместо этого они превратили это Божье дело в частную лавочку для удовлетворения собственных амбиций и кошелька. Эта притча была рассказана при большом стечении народа: Иисус нарисовал яркую картину того, что произойдёт в течение ближайших дней – Его, Возлюбленного Сына Хозяина Виноградника – Бога – выведут из города, и мучительно убьют – в надежде, что теперь никто не будет мешать виноградарям – еврейской знати – жить так, как им хочется. Но и Бог не оставит этого преступления без наказания: Иерусалим будет уничтожен, а виноградник – наследство Божие – перейдет в руки тех, кто будет делом доказывать свою верность Богу.

В чем же заключалась роковая ошибка иудейской религиозной аристократии? Как так могло случиться, что столь долго и страстно ожидая Мессию, они Его не просто проглядели, но и сами же убили! Ответ дан Самим Христом: обращаясь к фарисеям, Спаситель сказал: вы подменили заповедь Божию преданием человеческим! Религия как живая связь между человеком и Богом превратилась в религиозную идеологию, в которой Бог – не цель, а всего лишь инструмент, средство для достижения земных целей. И кажущееся облагораживание этого инструмента идеологии религиозными атрибутами лишь только делает его ещё опаснее, ещё коварнее, еще страшнее.

Но было бы наивным думать, что мы совершенно свободны от подобного искушения. Как важно научиться быть христианином – а не только декларировать себя таковым! Не только соблюдать пост в отказе от скоромной пище и развлечений – но и не перегрызать друг другу горло своими спорами и бесконечными претензиями друг ко другу! Не только нарочито креститься перед образами – но и на деле иметь великое уважение перед образом Божиим, запечатлённом в каждом человеке! Не только высокопарно рассуждать о Третьем Риме и всеобщей апостасии – но и собственных детей воспитывать в трудолюбии, вере и благочестии! И главное, каждый свой шаг сопоставлять с тем, о чем учил наш Бог и Спаситель – Иисус Христос, победитель смерти и ада, наш главный камертон настоящего человеческого достоинства! 1 And he began to speak to them in parables: a certain man planted a vineyard and surrounded it with a fence, and dug up a grindstone, and built a tower, and, having given it to the winegrowers, went away.
2 And in due time he sent a servant to the winegrowers - to receive from the winegrowers the fruits of the vineyard.
3 But they seized him, beat him, and sent him away with nothing.
4 Again I sent another servant to them; and they broke his head with stones and released him with dishonor.
5 And again he sent another: and they killed him; and many others were either beaten or killed.
6 Having one more son, kind to him, he finally sent him to them, saying: My son will be ashamed.
7 But the winegrowers said to one another, This is the heir; let’s go, kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
8 And capturing him, they killed and threw him out of the vineyard.
9 What will the master of the vineyard do? “He will come and put to death the winegrowers, and give the vineyard to others.”
10 Have you not read this in the Scripture: the stone that the builders rejected, that same became the head of the corner;
11 This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
12 And they tried to seize him, but were afraid of the people, for they understood that he had told a parable about them; and having left him, they departed.

The parable of the evil winegrowers The Savior answers the question that the Pharisees asked him a little earlier: what power do you have? who gave you the right to behave yourself like that? The meaning of the parable was quite transparent to the audience: it was not without reason that after the parable, the fury of the elders barely resisted the imminent reprisal against Jesus only because of fear of the multitude of the gathered people. In the evil vineyards, the Pharisees recognized themselves - it was they, the Jewish spiritual nobility, who were instructed by God Himself to educate the people, cultivate the vineyard of God - and instead they turned this business of God into a private shop to satisfy their own ambitions and wallet. This parable was told at a large gathering of people: Jesus painted a vivid picture of what will happen in the coming days - He, the Beloved Son of the Vineyard Master - God - will be taken out of the city, and painfully killed - in the hope that now no one will interfere with the vineyards - Jewish nobility - to live as they want. But God will not leave this crime without punishment: Jerusalem will be destroyed, and the vineyard - the inheritance of God - will pass into the hands of those who will be the deed of proving their faithfulness to God.

What was the fatal mistake of the Jewish religious aristocracy? How could it happen that for so long and passionately waiting for the Messiah, they not only overlooked Him, but killed themselves! The answer was given by Christ Himself: turning to the Pharisees, the Savior said: you have replaced the commandment of God with the tradition of men! Religion as a living connection between man and God has turned into a religious ideology in which God is not a goal, but just a tool, a means to achieve earthly goals. And the apparent refinement of this instrument of ideology by religious attributes only only makes it even more dangerous, even more insidious, even worse.

But it would be naive to think that we are completely free from such a temptation. How important it is to learn to be a Christian - and not just to declare yourself as such! Not only to observe a post in refusal from fast food and entertainment - but also not to gnaw at each other's throats with their disputes and endless claims to each other! Not only deliberately baptized in front of the images - but in fact, have great respect for the image of God, embodied in every person! Not only pompous talk about the Third Rome and universal apostasy - but to educate their own children in hard work, faith and piety! And most importantly, to compare each step with what our God and Savior taught - Jesus Christ, the conqueror of death and hell, our main tuning fork of true human dignity!
