Don't know much about Jay Reatard, but whenever I hear his songs I can't get them out of my head. Guys got a knack for writing twisted, catchy, 2-min., pop/punk songs. This is the flip side of Danny and Loreli's situation. Danny really wants Sadie and may be in love with Big C. Loreli's a distant third. The substitute girl. The stand in. Course it's this callous part of Danny that allows him to step outside their situation and the watched becomes the watcher.
