- Angel Eyes Part 1
Alone at last, our hero looks beyond the night.
He dreams of shadows from the past,
And what was there before.
The only things he feels are from another life.
But they don't matter anymore,
He slowly turns towards the door.
- Angel of My Soul
Dream with your eyes, only heroes survive.
Let you mind wash away the cares of today.
I know that you've cried, too many tears kept inside.
Like an angel grown tired of saving the day.
The demons trapped inside of me are screaming to be free
Your sweet song of sanity is what I long to hear.
- Angels in the Forest
She wandered lonely through the forest,
Darkness filled her as she cried.
Along the pathway, to the clearing,
A bed of roses where she died.
Fear not the Prince of Darkness,
You will learn to understand.
- Echoes of You
I'm haunted everyday, they won't go away.
These echoes of you.
The ghosts from the past, they linger on now,
Like angels in waiting.
I'm haunted everyday, they won't go away.
These images of you.
The ghosts from the past, they linger on now,
- Footprints in the Snow
I've come to the forking path,
I've lived with the other half,
But pain and sorrow blocked the way.
The things that I should have done,
The demons that I've overcome,
Are waiting for me in the dark.
- Hear The Ocean Roar
I watch the morning sun as it rises from the sea,
But until the night is done, darkness lingers over me.
To see a falling star,
To wish upon a dream or was it just too far?
Dreaming of the night.
- Ode to an Angel
Ode To An Angel
Part 1. The Azure Blue Sea (Loss)
I once had an angel who watched over me,
Her eyes were as blue as the Azure sea.
She left one day for a normal life,
- Ombres
The days of solitude,
Have deadened all the life in me.
The strength that I once had,
Is slipping from my hands you see.
The people I once knew,
Have faded like a dream in the past.
- Quiet Desperation
The man who lives beside me
wants to set the world on fire,
I’d worry more about it, but I know that he’s a liar.
The people across the street
have moved their TV set outside,
They want the world to understand,
they’ve nothing much to hide.
It feeds the seed in me.
- Return to Uqbar
I have traveled in this desert for so long,
I’m in fear that I can’t carry on.
I dream now of my home for which I yearn.
For I know now, it is time to return.
My oasis in the desert isn’t gone,
For as long as there’s life, I’ll go on.
Each day that I see through to the end,
- Sometimes
Sometimes when I'm alone with you,
I think of all the things I'd do,
If you'd only see.
The kind of man I really am,
The things that you don't understand.
Whose life can this be?
- The End of Days
The Priest:
I wonder what you'll be doing, Come the end of Days.
My eyes I think deceive me, looking through this haze.
I wake up in the morning and I'm staring at the wall.
I don't know how to even start to try and tell them all.
The voices in my head are coming
clearly through the haze,
Telling me it's time to go, It is The End of Days.
- The Hands of Time
I want to live a million years,
But time’s not on my side.
With coins of gold and potions bold,
I’ll stop the hands of time.
Free me from this icy grave,
From dust to dust, my soul to save,
The clock it tortures me.
- The Knives of Indifference
In the evening mist, I can see them crawl.
Through the darkened trees, by the waterfall.
Come to us they call to me, feel the knives of our misery.
Demons bind my hands with ropes that burn to black.
The knives of your indifference are thrust into my back!
- The Last Night
Last night as I lay sleeping,
My soul rose up to the ceiling.
Drifting away from me.
Then I awoke and I could see,
My spirit smiling down at me.
Hearing an angel call to me.
- The Prisoner
Does the town bell ring?
I can't hear, trapped inside this thing.
For my sins, I'll rot.
Child of God, I'm not!
Take this life of mine,
Let them see, bloddy justice blind.
There can only be,
- The Raven
Moonlight bright and forest deep,
The trees fell silent for a secret they did keep,
In her eyes there burned a smouldering fire,
The angel of dark and carnal desire.
Her whispers caressed the ancient words,
From the trees she charmed the black-feathered bird,
The spell was cast upon the darkening sky,
- The River Lethe
I'm counting each day as this life slips away.
It's time to let go of the past.
The things that I feel, they no longer seem real.
I walk in the shadow I've cast.
I'm holding the line like a man out of time,
I need to get back to the light.
- The Twilight Beckons Me
I'm looking for a sign to follow you,
Cause I cant stop the bleeding in my heart.
I'm waiting for these walls to crumble down,
Because I'm tired.
I'm dreaming of the way it used to be,
When the only thing that mattered wasn't real.
But now I see as the twilight beckons me,
- Thoughts of Suicide
Falling through rainbows,
It seems like I've lost tomorrow.
Dreaming of Angels,
They know that I need their sorrow.
Drifting to nowhere,
You feel like you're dying slowly.
Hold on to your soul,
- When the Evening Comes
Each day I awake, there’s a time,
Before I recall that life’s no longer mine.
I feel the wind in my hair,
And hear the sound of rain in the evening air.
But then the moment is done,
The pain that grows inside me isn’t gone.
- Whispers
I’m dreaming of you now,
With your arms reaching gently for me.
A voice calls from the shadows,
Whispering so tenderly.
The clock on the mantle doesn’t see.
I look in the mirror,
Your face seems much nearer,
- Your Ghost Tonight
Last night I lay in the shadow of the moon.
Warm waves of time, gently washing my soul.
These thoughts of you, and the memories that I know,
Linger in my mind, telling me which way to go.
Deep in my heart, there’s a place I’ve never been,
The signs show the way,
But I don’t know what they mean.
